Role: Production Coordinator, Intern “Project CLD”

We are seeking a Production Coordinator Intern to assist in the daily operations of “Project CLD”, a light-hearted, humorous educational adventure series for children. This is a fully remote, part-time internship ideal for individuals who want to explore animation production from a leadership and logistics lens.
This opportunity is open to all applicants of legal working age, regardless of educational background or prior industry experience. Whether you are a student, self-taught, or transitioning into animation from another field, what matters most is your attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.
About the Role:
As a Production Coordinator Intern, you will work closely with the Production Manager to maintain progress across departments, support scheduling, and organize communication among team members. This role provides insight into production logistics and team management, while giving you hands-on experience in the structure and rhythm of a professional animation pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in updating production calendars, schedules, and task lists
Monitor asset submissions and track progress across departments
Help with internal documentation and file delivery tracking
Communicate with artists and coordinators to keep production on track
Support meeting preparation and follow-up, including agendas and notes
Learn how to build and maintain digital production systems
Workload:
Estimated 5 to 10 hours per week from June to August. This internship is remote and includes regular video meetings. A potential second cycle may run from September to November for those who are not students or who wish to continue.
Qualifications:
Interest in animation production, studio operations, or creative project management
Highly organized and able to track multiple tasks and deadlines
Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed and comfortable asking questions to stay aligned with the team
No formal education required, but applicants should demonstrate initiative and the ability to follow through on commitments
